Aurora District Lay Academy

Spend Lent 2017 deepening your commitment. Learn the fundamentals of Lay Servanthood, discover the rich history of Methodism and open yourself to the transforming power of grace and spiritual disciplines in the Wesleyan tradition.

Classes are held on Sunday afternoons and run from March 5 through April 2, 2:30 - 5:30 p.m. at Orland Park First UMC 15101, S. 80th St.

LOVE Christian Clearinghouse Silent Auction & Reception

Laughing With Love!
Putting the FUN Back in Fundraiser!

Join LOVE Christian Clearinghouse as it celebrates 30 years of ministry work in DuPage County – helping churches help others! The evening begins with an appetizer reception with music by David Schertz on the piano plus a silent auction. Featured auction items include 10 days in a luxury condo in Maui or 7 days in a Castle Estate near St. Andrews Scotland!

Dinner is followed by Christian comedian and DGFUMC member Greg Schwem providing entertainment for all ages (gregschwem.com). 

Tickets are $30 and seating is limited. Call 630.512.8673. All proceeds benefit low income families in DuPage County through LOVE Christian Clearinghouse services.
