Children's Sabbath Service & Blessing of the Backpacks

Special Outdoor Service at Fishel Park

Please join the United Methodist Women in celebrating children and youth all over the world with a special outdoor worship service at Fishel Park (weather permitting!). Children and youth from our congregation will be greeters, lay readers and ushers, and they will provide special music along with Osvaldo Vena and the Still a Dream Band.

 

Also on this day children of all ages are asked to bring their backpacks (or briefcases) to worship and John Smoke will give a “blessing of the backpacks (and briefcases)” to get the new school year off to a great start!
