God, as known to us in Jesus Christ, welcomes all.
We welcome people of any race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, social or economic status, employment status, or life situation; including people with physical or mental illness or disability.
We practice loving acceptance of each person and respectful discussion
of our differences.

The Giving Tree, which is now in the Parlor, gives you the opportunity to purchase gifts for needy children, youth, and adults in our township and across the Northern Illinois Conference. This year, we are supporting ChildServ, PADS, and the Peoples Resource Center. Just choose a tag marked with the name or initials of these agencies.

The Downers Grove Ministerium, of which DGFUMC is a member, invites you to share in an Ecumenical Thanksgiving Eve Worship Service Wednesday, November 27 at 7:30pm.

Do you have a favorite tabletop nativity scene that you would like to share with our church family? Does it have a story? How old is it? Has it been passed down from your grandparents or someone else or did you buy it new? Is it from a different country? Tell us about your nativity and then we would love to display your tabletop nativity at our Nativity Open House on December 8!
