Please join the UMW in celebrating children and youth all over the world! In honor of this day, children and youth from our congregation will held in the service and provide special music. Children of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks (or briefcases) to church. There wil be a blessing of the backpacks and briefcases to get the year off to a great start!

Each child is asked to also bring a non-perishable food item for donation to PRC. There is no Sunday School this week as families are invited to worship together.

Children's Sabbath and Blessing of the Backpacks

Join the United Methodist Women in celebrating children and youth all over the world! In honor of this day, children and youth from our congregation will help lead the service and provide special music. Children of all ages are asked to bring their backpacks (or briefcases) to church at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. Pastor John Smoke will give a blessing of the backpacks (and briefcases) to get the new school year (and work year) off to a great start! Each child is asked to also bring a non-perishable food item for donation to People's Resource Center.

Messy Church

Messy Church is a new kind of service on the second Sunday of the month for parents and children to share. There will be a time to make crafts as a family, a short (and lively) time of gathering, and a family friendly lunch. This time will be about building community along with thinking about that greater power that is creator and love of all. It takes place in the church gym. Please register in advance so that we can prepare food and supplies.
