Update to Church Response to COVID-19 Pandemic - February 23, 2021

Our church community's health and welfare is of great importance to us during the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to offer worship at 10:00 a.m. online through Zoom and will return to in-person worship on February 28. Our church staff is working in the building, as needed.

Masks are required in the building at all times.

The office phone is answered at 630.968.7120 during our regular office hours from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The building doors remain locked at all times during the week.

Church staff and pastors can be reached by using email or phone with any questions or needs you may have. If you need to visit the church office, please call first to make an appointment to ensure that a staff member will be available.

Worship Services

Based on our region's recent return to Phase 4, we will return to the sanctuary this Sunday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. for worship with a limited number of people.

We will continue to hold online Zoom worship at the same time each week. If you are unable to join us, our worship services will continue to be available for viewing on Facebook and our website after the service.

As a faith community who promotes caring ministries and relationships, we are bound to uphold the responsibility to "first do no harm." Our plan to return to the Sanctuary developed by our Return Team and Health Team committees is based on the continued reduced rate of new cases, positivity, deaths, and hospitalizations; and a significant increase in the rate of vaccinations in Illinois. Currently, the NIC Bishop and the CDC suggest we continue to avoid large groups, especially indoors, so we are limiting the number of individuals who may attend in-person worship at this time.

Ash Wednesday Service - February 17 at 7:00 p.m.

We enter the season of Lent on Wednesday, February 17. Join our pastors online for our Ash Wednesday worship service on February 17 at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom.

In accordance with public health guidelines, ashes will not be administered in person, however, during our online worship service you may self-administer ashes.

Feel free to pick up ashes outside the front door of the church. Ashes are available in a green cooler marked 'Ash Wednesday'. Please take only one small bag of ashes per family. Deacon Wes created a video about ashes pick-up to guide you further. Click here to view the video.

As a community, let us enter this holy time with renewed reverence, courage, and hope.

View or download the Ash Wednesday bulletin here.

For our Ash Wednesday worship, we will use the same Zoom link and password as for Sunday worship.
