2012 General Conference Book Fund is growing

Thanks to all who have generously contributed to the fund, instigated by Judy Koptik, to send every 2012 General Conference delegate a copy of the book On Thundering Wings: Homosexuality, Love and the Church on Trial. The fund has now grown to over $4,000. Judy believes that hearts and minds will be changed by reading this account of The Rev. Greg Dell's church trial, held at this church in March, 1999, as well as personal incidents in the life of Ermalou Roller that illustrate the damage inflicted upon families by bigoted attitudes towards gays and lesbians.

Each book sent will cost $16.95. You may donate any amount at the church office or put a check (with the notation GCBF) in the offering plate. We'll need $20,000 for this project so please give generously.
